A week before the start of the new term we ran out of money. The builders downed tools and our chances of being ready by the 9th of May seemed lost. I was so stressed that I couldn’t sleep because I knew the children would be heartbroken if they couldn’t go to school when term started.

But God answered my prayers. An unexpected gift from a committed supporter arrived just in time to get the builders back, with no time to spare. By the 9th of May we had latrines and temporary classrooms – the bare minimum required by the Ministry of Education.

With a lick of paint we tried to make the classrooms more fun for the children and looked forward to their arrival. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated to our school fundraiser. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible.

We still have such a long way to go, but we have made a start, and this is good.

God bless you,

Pastor Mike
