Our hard-working teachers are dedicated to their pupils and work hard to provide them with a quality, compassionate education, even when they don’t get paid. Don’t get me wrong, they are salaried employees, but our charity is frequently – constantly – short of cash and they often have to wait longer than they should for their wage. They don’t complain, but they have to eat 🙂
The compulsory closure of schools in Uganda, two weeks earlier than normal, in an attempt to stem the spread of the Ebola virus, means that we must pay the teachers sooner than anticipated, before the 25th of this month, and we are $200 short of the needed funds.
If you can afford to help us pay the teachers, we would be so grateful, no donation is too small.
As always, thank you so much for your kindness. God bless you.
