We at LUV4ALL: Uganda are absolutely thrilled that Atlas Vegan Community School has won a Compassionate School Award from TeachKind, PETA’s humane education division. Included with the award is a box brimming with free teaching materials, including Share the World empathy lessons for students and a $1,000 donation to contribute toward food and supplies.
This is an absolute God-Send and we will be able to do so much good with it. The much needed funds will go towards the school’s running costs and the teaching materials will help not only Atlas pupils, but also those who attend the other schools we visit as part of our vegan outreach program.
Thanks so much to everyone at PETA, for all the amazing work you do for animals, and for recognising what we are doing. We are truly honoured.
