Mike was invited to speak to the children at Kikumbi Children’s Home in Mityana District about how to go vegan and why it is so important.

He talked about showing love and kindness to animals and explained how to transition to plant-based eating for the sake of their own health, for the sake of the animals, and for the sake of our planet. He told them which foods to start with and how to cook them.
He had a wonderful time with everyone at Kikumbi Children’s Home and left them with some of the literature from the Peta TeachKind Award and some of the vegan storybooks from Violet’s Vegan Comics.
